Ottawa Bird House provides home-based small-bird sitting from Morgan’s Grant in Kanata. Bring the cage and food your bird already knows, tell us the routine, and we review the stay before confirming it.
The standard stay includes feeding and fresh water according to your instructions, routine tidying around the cage, and normal day-to-day attention. You can request a free daily photo, paid detailed updates, a rental cage, or limited pickup.
Whenever possible, bring the cage your bird normally lives in along with enough usual food for the full stay. Familiar perches, toys, sleep routines and feeding habits are easier to follow when you describe them clearly in the request.
The request asks whether your bird has been sick or shown unusual symptoms recently, needs medication or health care, or follows a special diet or strict routine. Recent illness does not automatically rule out a stay, but it must be disclosed so the separate-care area can be checked for your dates.

The standard rate starts at $10 per day for one or two accepted small birds that already live together and safely share their normal setup. Groups of three to six birds and unlisted species are reviewed manually before confirmation.
